History

Founded in 1939, Eagle Tool & Machine Co. was incorporated in 1941 with two stock holders, and remains privately owned and operated.

Tools, dies, and fixtures were the main products until the factory devoted its entire efforts in support of the defense mobilization of the country in 1942.

Having been awarded the Army and Navy Production Award Emblem four times for its outstanding contribution to the war effort, Eagle returned to building tools, dies, fixtures and special application machinery.

The company became involved in the manufacture of military vehicle components again during the Korean War.

In the mid 1950's Eagle became a supplier of aircraft landing gear components. Along with this, the company continued its manufacture of special application machinery such as test stands for missle guidance systems.

Eagle has become identified with the manufacture of high-strength critical components for aircraft landing gear systems.
